Pricing
The price of the book
- The net price of the book is 55 € (Euro) per copy.
- If 10 to 19 copies are ordered at the same time, a discount of 10 % is offered. Orders of 20 copies or more are subject to a 20 % discount.
Postage and packing
- Normally, orders are delivered by registered air mail letter or as registered international small packets. The cost of postage depends on the destination and the number of copies delivered. The cost of postage and packing for some common situations is shown here. For more complicated orders, the means of transportation is determined with the customer on a case to case basis.
Value added tax
- To the above prices value added tax (VAT) is added, as required by the Community law of the EEC Countries.
- In short, the VAT rules imply that to orders from within the European Community, placed by individuals or organisations that do not have or do not invoke a valid VAT registration number, the Estonian VAT is added. The VAT rate is 5 % on the price of the book or books, and 18 % on the price of postage and packing.
- All other customers, that is individuals and legal entities that are registered for VAT within the European Community and can present a valid VAT registration number, as well as all customers from outside the European Community, are exempt from VAT. It is understood that the first category has to apply the VAT as required by their residence country when retailing the book to the ultimate consumer. In the second case, the book is exported from the European Community, and it is the responsibility of the customer to declare the import as required by his or her country of residence and to pay any applicable customs duty and VAT.
Ordering terms
- When the publisher has received an order, the total cost is determined and the customer is informed by email.
- The customer is asked to confirm the order.
- Upon the receipt of such a confirmation, the order is delivered together with an invoice that is payable to an Estonian bank account of the publisher.
